She sent me this postcard covered in tiny, psychotic writing, recounting a key bit from a novel that we both like, and it made me laugh until I curled up into a little squatty cackling ball on the living-room floor.

This of course led to the inevitable and completely unanswerable question from the other room, "What's so funny?"
