sketchbook spam: when coloring and super-heroines go bad

Here is an example of a picture that should not have been colored. In B&W, it was all sleek an' junk. Color, especially my crap color choices, did it no favors.

Evil Supergirl. Ink, marker, colored pencil. I cannot be the only one who hopes her current battle with Regular Supergirl ends with R. Supergirl in bloody chunks. Alas, it probably won't.

I don't think the colors are crap at all, although you make such incredibly cool choices sometimes that I'm probably just unable to envision *your* vision. But I like this. Damn -- I wish I could see the B&W --hey, wait, couldn't you take the color back out in Photoshop by using the magic tool, or whatever? Then you could have both versions.

Anyway, I like your Evil Supergirl.

Aw, i like your color choices. :D It's very eye-catching and somehow dramatic, in a very fun way.

The magenta and red do not go together well do they.

perhaps if you had colored all the white in as blueish purple it wouldn't stand out so well!

(I suggest that as it's the only part left uncolored and as such is still colorable)

Huh...

Examining so closely makes me respect your inking talent highly though. I don't get(or find familiar?) the facial sheen effect, and agree that the flamboyance of the background coloring makes said background war with our girl. But it is tres slick, yo.
