Back when I office managed for McPherson Furnace and Equipment (or as we called it, MoFo's Heeters and Shit), our Purchasing Agent had quite a specimen growing behind his chimney. One leaf got SOOOOO big and was SOOOO perfect he pressed it and sandwiched it between two sheets of glass to make a coffee table top. All he had to do was artfully stack magazines over it if prissy types came to visit.
Man, the 1970's were good times. Unless you're Sam Tyler.
Knowing her as I do now, I think that she knew perfectly well what it was, and just liked the idea of having it in her yard. She could be cagey that way.
