The new Torchwood novels turned up yesterday. (Amazon kept punking out, so I went with The Book Depository.) One of them has Ianto on the cover, wearing sad clown paint. Pure gold. Always believe in your soul, little emo teaboy.
True story: I got the first set of novels long before I saw the show. I was deeply entertained by the sheer batshittery, but I thought, knowing the difference one usually finds between tie-ins and actual series, there is no way in hell the characters on the show can be this stupid and live.
Imagine my delight when I found out that the novels are pretty much series-accurate.
