Bollix (-up) = "mess up", early 20th-century import of BrE "bollocks-up" [past tense: bollixed/bollocksed/ballsed (-up)]
Ballocks = testicles, and either it's before 1800, or you are being coarse and unfit for polite company, most likely because you're singing about sailors
Bullock is awesome. He was in a shopping mall when the earthquake hit Gotham. He ended up with a metal pipe through the arm, which he left in until he walked all the way back to the precinct. As soon as he figured out Gordon was missing, he popped the pipe out himself by hitting a wall, then got Gordon safe (in a huge moment of symbolism, Gordon had been trapped by the falling Bat-Signal).
I swear, my fellow Americans really know balls about bollocks and bullocks. Okay, and just about everything else. We need you to guide us! *plays inspirationally heroic music*
