snowed in

With a tiny, ancient woman and a stack of novels.

We've sent out for pizza. Will we get pizza? If it's too awful for us to go out, surely it's too awful for pizza persons to get in. Only time can unveil the mystery.

Damn. Thought of doing the same thing myself, but didn't because I thought, "Oh, surely they won't make it." How could I have so little faith?

I was rather surprised. Not only did we get pizza, but we got pizza in 20 minutes. And a free quart of pop 'cause we ordered online.
