I'm rather bummed about the passing of Howard K. Smith. Remember how he kept up the morale of the Resistance during the invasion and occupation by the Visitors in the 80s?

I swear, a girl's gerbils just weren't safe in those days.

That was my first thought, too, before I remembered that he used to be a real newscaster.
