The new Torchwood novels turned up yesterday. (Amazon kept punking out, so I went with The Book Depository.) One of them has Ianto on the cover, wearing sad clown paint. Pure gold. Always believe in your soul, little emo teaboy.
Aw, fuck. I'm still waiting on Amazon to bring me my new Torchwood novels. I keep checking at Borders, but no show. *cries* And I want my sad clown Ianto.
True story: I got the first set of novels long before I saw the show. I was deeply entertained by the sheer batshittery, but I thought, knowing the difference one usually finds between tie-ins and actual series, there is no way in hell the characters on the show can be this stupid and live.
Imagine my delight when I found out that the novels are pretty much series-accurate.
