good morning, middle-earth!

I've got coffee and choccy cinny rolls and --

Oh, fuck.

[identity profile] nimrodel.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
ya, kind of my reaction too.....I was close enough to get dust clouded and knocked on my ass, but didn't get squished...was on my home from the poetry slam.

What...er...what happened here?

Coffee? Cinny roll?

Re:

[identity profile] nimrodel.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
both, thank you.

Uh. Think chicken little. the sky is falling the sky is falling? I heard somewhere it was a bit of the moon (brings back terrible memories of nightmares about a TV show called Thundarr The Barbarian.) it uh, splatted a lot of hobbitland.
Nice coffee, is it Kona Hawaiian by any chance?

Oh, my God! The SHIRE??? Holy shit.

::sips coffee::

Nice, innit? I think it's that blue whatsit stuff, or Peruvian.

I remember Thundarr. I liked the blonde chick.

::picks up dead bird by feather-tip, flings it away::

Ew!

Don't...er...don't you guys kind of need the Moon? For, like, tides an' junk? Cirdan will pitch a fit, or as close as he ever gets, which may mean using actual verbs.

Re:

[identity profile] nimrodel.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
that might actually be worth seeing...but I think it was just a little chunk of the moon. Aule and the other Valar are evidently going to fix it? Tilion is freaking and the sunchick is trying to chill him out...I figure not much we lowly ground bound folks can do on that one, our work is cut out here...Let the valar and the maia worry about the moon and the nervous breakdown, not that I don't feel sorry for Tilion. He seems like a nice kid.
Cirdan using a verb....I hope I don't miss THAT.
Cinnamon rolls are good too MMMmmm..where'd you find these?

Oh dear. Poor kid. I imagine all the omnipotence and everything can make a person wig once in a while. Not that the chemical abuse helps...

Believe it or not, they're from the grocery store bakery. My Cousin Robbie makes 'em. ::sip::

So...should we, I dunno, go help dig graves or combat looters or something? (When we're out of coffee, of course.)

How'd the poetry thing go at Butterbur's? I'm sorry I missed it, but - grocery night.

[identity profile] nimrodel.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Robbies a good cook.

Yeah, I think we should probably pitch in a bit, but it would be a shame to waste the coffee. I'm all for combating looters, kicking someone's butt sounds good this morning.
*Screeeeeches!*
sorry, comes from shagging hanging out with a certain ringwraith alot.

Butterburs poetry slam was great, it's a shame you missed it. I hope they do it again. I'm not really a poetry person, in terms of writing it myself, but there are some people here who are absolutely fecking brilliant. Maybe we should publish "Sock Puppet Theatre Poetry" someday....or at least have the sock puppet community go through and memory all the posts under poetry....I'd be willing to do that, if they want to give me access...

Anyway, off to kick looters asses....and help with the clean up and all and then gotta run errands. Life goes on...

Um...if I were to die, you'd give me a proper funeral and all, right? Not just fling me?

Just checking and all. I don't plan on dying anytime soon. Although with this upside down thingy, you never know.

I would never fling you! You're far too heavy.

[identity profile] amanda-now.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
Hm, Livejournal isn't livejournal without my daily dose of middle earth drama.

p.s. print is in the mail.

[identity profile] amanda-now.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
no no, thank you!

Hmm, I'm just glad I didn't draw a map of the shire or anything. I just read through those and journals and an impact from a piece of the moon would require more eraser than I have at my disposal.

Sailor Moon may be a bit of a girly show but at least you don't find smoldering canyons of debris where Tokyo Tower once stood.

typos. gr. too many ands in there.

Well, you do, but it's always magically fixed by the Power of Love[TM] about fifteen seconds later.

hahaha-
::laughter suddly stops as she realizes that really does happen in Sailor Moon R the movie::

eep.

They don't have any Power of Love[TM] in Middle Earth? I've read those journals, there certainly seems to be a lot of lovin' of some sort going around.

sad thing is there really is a song called Power of Love[TM] in the Sailor Moon dub

[identity profile] amanda-now.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 07:31 am (UTC)(link)
::sigh::

suddenly, not suddly.

I really need to read what I type.

[identity profile] nimrodel.livejournal.com 2002-04-18 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
didn't Huey Lewis and the news do a power of love song too?

Yes. Yes, they did.

Maybe we can do a Care Bear Stare?

*sigh* This is the third time in just as many weeks that Brandyhall has been obliterated.
I think we need to make a shield over it. Or move.

Wow, three times in three weeks? That's very unfortunate.

What are you all doing to attract this kind of insanity?

Waking up at the crack of noon and coming into the greenhouse wrapped in a negligee, newspapers tucked under my arm.

Coffee and cinny rolls? Yes!!

Looking out the window

Oh what, again?
