Nononononono, you misunderstand. I went on the BTTF ride. I stood in line, baring myself to the...sounds of Mr Lewis and his News. I strapped myself into the little motion-control car with Jennie and Susan and Sharon and several complete strangers, because they had assured me that although it was a motion-control ride, it was harmless and not jerky or airsicky.

Ten minutes later I stumbled out, terrified and ill, and if life were more like fiction they would have had to dip me in the Amity Island pond to revive me, but instead I think somebody got me water and I decompressed in the gift shop.

Then we went on to Men In Black.

NOO!!!

You didn't like the BTTF Ride?! That's even more sacreligous!!!
It's short! It's not that jerky!!!

And the mist isn't that heavy. *sigh*

Oh well. Should've had more of me in it, I guess. :(

I must've missed the mist. Maybe my eyes were closed.

I liked the little clip of Doc Brown and the Beatles, if that helps.

If it makes you feel any better, her reaction to Space Mountain was waaay worse. At least, from the outside...

I blame all of you. You only told me Space Mountain was a roller coaster ride in the dark. You never said that it was a friggin' ROLLER COASTER RIDE in the goddamned DARK!!!

Ever see one of those centrifuges they use for training astronauts? Imagine being put in one of those, blindfolded and upside-down, during a major earthquake while a Level 5 tornado rages around you. Except it's scarier than that.

It was cool when they tried to haul me out of the car, though. I was paralyzed*, hysterical, and wearing a giant yellow plastic poncho with Mouse on it**, and they couldn't find any limbs.

*Apart from the shrieks of "Are you deRANGED?!? What the FUCK was THAT???"
**Massive thunderstorm as we boated to the Magic Kingdom. Totally cool.

When I was 13, I *swear* it was just this boring, circling, downward-sloping track with a bunch of lightbulbs installed in a black wall that looked like lightbulbs screwed into a black wall unless I took my glasses off.

They've...um...improved it, some. Just a bit.

::deadly monotone::

It's good to know the Imagineers are constantly working to improve our park experience.
