They should make a weekly TV series of Buzz Aldrin punching stupid people. I'd watch it.

I'm thinking an early-80s Cannell series with Buzz Aldrin and Carl Sagan as a pair of two-fisted private eyes. The recurring villains could be L. Ron Hubbard, Kreskin, and Erich Von Daniken.

Sagan: Von Daniken! So you're behind this!
VD: Yes, Herr Doktor Sagan. Now kindly step away from the valise or I will be forced to shoot you. Those moon rocks are the key to the resurrection of Mein Fuhrer.
Aldrin (from behind VD): I don't think so, Von Daniken. (Aldrin hits VD with a softball bat; VD slumps unconscious to the floor.)
Sagan: Buzz! I thought you were dead!
Aldrin: No. Vondy's winged serpent-bots kept me a little busy in the sewers, is all. You okay, buddy?
Sagan: I'm fine - now! Let's grab the valise and boogie before this whole place blows.

Buzz Aldrin, Sekrit Agent!

He should've punched him harder-- the guy's still talking.

It just makes me happy on so many levels.

Honestly, this has brightened my day to an extent I would not have thought possible.

Sometimes there is goodness in the world.

Suspicions

I have spoken to someone recently who harbors a suspicion and possibly believes that the first moon landing was faked so we could lord it over the Russians.

Scientific data aside (shit that we brought back from the first trip), I'm still mentally trying to wrap my mind around that one.

Capricorn One has a lot to answer for. Other than having O.J. Simpson and Sam Waterston in the same movie.

Why, God? Why?

Sometimes I wonder what sort of conversations Sam and OJ could possibly have had on the set.

"So...you're a football player, then?"
"Yeah."
"That's the one with the pointy ball, right?"
