MediaWest picspam: Spock Monkey

(cliquez-vous pour more biggerness)

Red Heel socks (they come in blue as well as brown), microfleece dishtowel uniform, wool felt details. Rag and poly stuffed for weight. The background is the perfectly revolting Lansing Days Inn, which, I am happy to say, we were able to vacate after the first night. I tried to straddle the Nimoy-Quinto line with the face.

Aww, a srs business expression on a sock monkey makes it so much cuter.

AND he has a red butt!

That is really cute. I myself have a stuffed Scotty that a friend won out of a toy machine.

I tried to straddle the Nimoy-Quinto line with the face.

And succeed admirably, I must say. You have captured the essential Spockness just so.

I've been itching to knit the bridge crew using the basic doll pattern from my Kath Dalmeny book, and this just doubles the need. Must finish current project -- well, at least one or two of my current projects -- before casting on. Arrgh.

Dooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

I was going to say that your monkey was cute, but I suppose that wouldn't be logical.

Holy fucking fuckity fuck

[identity profile] saffronhouse.livejournal.com 2009-06-02 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)
So magnificent! Sock of beauty, joy forever!!

[identity profile] nitasee.livejournal.com 2009-06-02 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I find this highly logical.

And totally cute.

A good friend of mine got this (in the art auction?) -- she was just telling me about it on Sunday. :-) I was dying to see it. This almost (but not quite) surpasses the Hurt/Comfort Quilt in the Not The MediaWest*Con Program Book that one year for sheer coolness.

I really like this monkey.

Which sounds vaguely dirty, but is true.

Yes! He's mine! All mine!

And I lurves him.

He is sitting on the headboard behind me as I type this, reading over my shoulder. (Positively eerie, ain't it?)

:-)

Not to mention Ash. Don't tell her I stole the idea from her username.
