Okay, when me an' [livejournal.com profile] crantz write a Sherlock story full of deliberately insane and exaggerated bullshit, it's really kind of disturbing to see some of it actually happen on the show.

*snort* Good one!

Everyone else on my flist who watches Sherlock is flailing and wailing and gnashing their teeth.

So, sounds like Ep 3 is best left to watch just before S3 starts. (I hate cliff-hangers. Even when I know the basic outcome. I'm all STOP FUCKING WITH ME TV PEOPLE!)

It's not a cliffhanger, oddly enough. I think they realized that there's really no point. It's just awfultraumy.

Ah, that, yes.

People right and left are upping their anti-anxiety meds. *rueful face* I say that with no sarcasm whatsoever.

Well, it really *would* be a bit silly, you're right, to try it on as a cliffhanger.

I watched it this morning and was seriously wishing I hadn't tossed the expired Seroquel. I'm also glad I'm not a small child because JESUS CHRIST. It's a future generation's version of Daleks trundling through Westminster.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like something I wanna see soon. Yikes.

I'm just going to quietly get caught up on S1 on PBS the next few weeks.

And hold off on S2. Until S3 is airing.

Actually PBS' episodes are all cut.

Yeah, I know.

They do it with all their Masterpiece stuff. Suzan and I gaped in shock when we saw what had been cut from S5 of Lewis.

Gosh, just so that we can see Alan Cummings (bleah) and Laura Linney (meh).

I have uncut DVDs eventually arriving, so I'm good.

I'm sure they cut stuff from Cranford 2 (which our strapped-for-cash station never showed) and Downton Abbey, too. Thank goodness that stuff is reasonably priced after awhile at Amazon.uk.
