Okay, when me an' crantz write a Sherlock story full of deliberately insane and exaggerated bullshit, it's really kind of disturbing to see some of it actually happen on the show.
They do it with all their Masterpiece stuff. Suzan and I gaped in shock when we saw what had been cut from S5 of Lewis.
Gosh, just so that we can see Alan Cummings (bleah) and Laura Linney (meh).
I have uncut DVDs eventually arriving, so I'm good.
I'm sure they cut stuff from Cranford 2 (which our strapped-for-cash station never showed) and Downton Abbey, too. Thank goodness that stuff is reasonably priced after awhile at Amazon.uk.
