A few tweets later he rebukes teabaggers for fearmongering. :D

Hah. You know, if a methane bubble bursted like that, everything would be like... melty. All the trees, all the plants and houses and stuff. Humans. @.@ Goddamn you, BP and company.

You want to re-invoke the panic, right?

Instigator! Agitator!

So, that's what all that noise was Saturday night? I just thought it was overly intoxicated neighbors.

It was. Your New Orleans neighbors. We drink a lot.

[identity profile] nitasee.livejournal.com 2010-07-12 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, since it was methane, I'd say you fart a lot has well. But then, I'm just rude that way.

I am sorry to inform you that your intelligence is unreliable. The Gulf Coast is definitely still there. I spent all day riding up and down it on an ATV, being asked by drunk rednecks if I could fetch them a case of beer, or if they could ride on the ATV, or how they might get my job.

There are times I kind of wish for an exploding methane bubble.

I particularly liked the assertion in the original article that an enormous methane bubble "caused" the Permian extinction. BWHAHAHA!!!
