This came over several Lone Gunmen lists today. Why is it that the pointless fan-purchased Variety ad irritates me so?
"Most of you have probably already heard, we're (us fans) are trying
to get together a "thank you" add for our beloved Gunmen. Right now
we are shooting for a half page ad. This will run us about $1,620.
Yes this is pretty steep but I think we can do it. The project is
being headed (sp?) up by Xxxxxx..."
I'm thinking $1,600 donated in the Gunmen's names to any remotely worthy cause would be a much better thank-you, rather than going to catbox liner for studio and agency employees, but that's just me.
