Painted and read all weekend, since walking beyond a slow B&N aisle pace was out of the question. (I wanted to go to the movies, dash it.) Then forgot to bring in the watercolor book to scan, so you are denied a glimpse of my singular artistic vision. How ever will you cope?

Yesterday I saw a silver custom van engulfed by fire. It was really rather cool, though obviously not for the owners of the van or the local firefighters. Still, it had a surreal, 70s-album-cover quality that I liked.

What are you looking at? Shut up!

I'm rather bummed about the passing of Howard K. Smith. Remember how he kept up the morale of the Resistance during the invasion and occupation by the Visitors in the 80s?

I swear, a girl's gerbils just weren't safe in those days.

I think - I think I just ordered the first Sailor Moon artbook off http://www.amazon.fr , but it's hard to say for sure. It may just have been 18 Euros' worth of snails, or worse, Bridget Jones, la suite. I'll find out in dix ou douze jours.

Meanwhile, [livejournal.com profile] gwaihirwl has asked to borrow Shep. Something to do with flying a slob and a Gondor stewardess, I think. Or 18 Euros' worth of snails. Between the beak and the purple cough syrup addiction, sometimes the Windlord is a bit difficult for my Midwestern ears to understand, but Shep is one of his creatures and should be in safe hands. Talons. Whatever.
