it's been a quiet week in lake woebegone

So, everything worked out. Sam and Frodo tied the knot. Most of the dead are back among the living. Beorn looked really just adorable in his little tux (I was really disgusting, but he didn't seem to mind, which was neat.) He even helped me hand out slightly smokey Gap of Rohan t-shirts to the wedding guests.
So, um, they all lived happily ever after, I guess. Until the next wave of mass destruction.

G'night!

Apr. 7th, 2002 05:45 pmFun is me! Went to see LOTR with the Unit and Gervaise. Keen, apart from the stupid AOTC trailer and the Kodak montage bloody AGAIN, the purpose of which escapes me. (If it later proves to have been the decisive factor in the hideous death of Osama, forgive me - my bad.) The film had broken and been repaired just at the bit where Strider beheads Lurtz, to Mom's bitter disappointment and the bewilderment of those seeing the movie for the first time.
Various mysteries: Gervaise came out of the theater with slightly whiter hair. Someone left an entire loaf of expensive bakery bread in the ladies'. Mom's random ability to hear.
