Having one of those horrible, Sybil-esque shame-spiked panic attacks, the likes of which usually only hits if you're, say, in junior high. I'd be worried except that every other person on LJ seems to be having an Episode of some sort, so maybe it's sunspots, or the fact that the President seems to have been possessed by the vengeful spirit of Richard Nixon.

I should look in my bag for Valium, but I'm afraid there might not be any and I don't want to know there isn't. Yay logic.

Young Bilbo's sleepover was pretty keen. Little kids are so wonderfully nuts - they're like Samoyeds with opposable thumbs. Main difficulty for an adult human is to avoid crushing them, especially the Hobbits.

Bit of trouble when it came time to tell ghost stories, since I have no feel at all for what exactly is too frightening for small children. They're still at the age when stuff like the gorilla on Gilligan's Island is a source of mind-numbing terror, and feeding them Cliffs Notes versions of X-Files and Friday the 13th episodes was, I fear, a bit over the top.
