"Can anyone on "The X-Files" hold a normal conversation anymore? Would that be too much to ask? Would it be too much to ask for Agent Scully, when presented with a direct question from a friend and X-Files compatriot, to reply in a prompt and courteous manner, rather than stare at her interlocutor and then stride out of the room? Just answer the question. Please."

In other news, I'm really amazed at how Gil Grissom walks without moving his legs. He's like one of those little wind-up toys that sort of lurches from side to side. Or a Weeble.

Gah!

I annoyed the bejeezus out of my stepmom when I kept commenting on that last night.

"He walks funny."
"Yeah, I guess he does."

"Is that supposed to be a homeless person's shamble he's trying to imitate?"
"I don't think so, no."

"Maybe he's stoned."
"Um..."
"No? Okay, you're right. Maybe one leg's shorter than the other."

And so on and so forth. Weird.

Perhaps the desks at his school were too small.

Never paid too much attention to the way he walks since he either isn't walking or he is wearing the kind of clothes that make sure you can't tell what body type he has. I suspect it's all middle-age actor trying to conpensate for being a middle age actor.

X-Files RIP. It bit the dust about a season ago, and they just figured it out this year. WIll miss Doggett though.

His pudginess is keen, though. This guy's a lab monkey. He only goes to the gym to collect loose skin cells for his albums.

Oh, I'm fine with his pudginess. It's a nice change of pace to have a leading man who looks like an ordinary man. He's not bad looking at all. It just I'm aware of the old use-the-wardrobe-to-hide-the-spread thing.

Actually, I think he's a cool geek. But who doesn't?

Gil Grissom, Forensic Weebler?
