Plushie Elrond. Approximately 18" high. Felt head, hands, boots, and tiara; some sort of cream velour-oid thing for all the body bits you can't see, plus the same painted for the eyes and eyebrows; embroidered nose and mouth; fleece hair; satinoid tunic; suedecloth robe, trousers, and sash; brocade ribbon and nifty shimmery orangey-goldy cotton cuffs; various beads for hair and buttons. The fingers have wire in 'em so they can bend, and he's got a 'spine' made from a bendy Halloween costume tail so his itty neck won't snap. The lurchy-leaning posture is due to the cheap camera's fisheye-ing and my photographic incompetence - he actually stands up straight.

And the hair:

I may add more tiara one day, and re-do his robe with longer cuffs. But that day is not today.

Beautiful! *applauds*

Although he doesn't look as if he'd be happy about it, I just want to hug him! Absolutely amazing job. The back of his hair is uber-cool looking. About how long did it take you to make?

I *just* saw this -- don't know how I missed him before. You know he's GORGEOUS! FYI, you might want to invest in doll armatures for future projects. I'm not sure how much they run (I haven't bought one in a a while) but they're great for soft bodied dolls and most of them are modular so you can customize the size.

(Psssst...please add me back to your friends list. I'm missing out on the Ann Love!)

Awww. I'm glad you like him. I haven't tried a real armature - for some reason they're hard to find here, and in any case El turned out pointlessly large.

Will do. I tried it when I got your e-mail, but LJ was being a whore at the time.

I'll have to see if I can source them for you. I've used a few in my porcelain dolls (including my still not finished original sculpted Jareth the Goblin King) and they're great.

Thank you for bringing me back to the amazing world of Ann Fann Bo Bann. :)
