phosfateEaster in the Midwest is slightly less exciting than...well, everything. Everything closes except the grocery stores and video rental shops. And McDonalds. Hell, the churches are probably closed.
Gave Mom a garden tool tote as an Easter basket, with Jelly Bellys and a couple of variety packs of Trident. My basket is a useful plastic bucket, with Nestle Crunch eggs and those little plastic eggs containing, well, cash. It's...um...symbolic of rebirth, or something. I mean, it's green, right? Newborn Spring green! Yeah!
But the best part was the grass, which she made by shredding leftover Hannukah paper into strips.
