I'm with you on The DaVinci Code book. Some days, it seems like I'm the only person in the world who hasn't read him, and doesn't want to.

Are you liking Quicksilver? I hit a wall about halfway through it, put it down and haven't picked it up again. And I really don't know why; I was totally into the various story lines.

Psst. Anne Rice is writing a new book...on the Lost Egyptian Years of Jesus Christ, Young Messiah.

I can't wait for the comicbook adaptation.

Also? The B just finished the Da Vinci Code. At one point, he said, "Man, this really sucks. I'm totally rooting for Opus Dei."

Oh, the DaVinci Code! I so enjoyed not reading it, especially the ending. I think I might not reread it again this summer.

Mmmm...Gaiman. I've been meaning to re-read American Gods lately, but I always feel guilty re-reading favorites when there are so many books I haven't read yet that I've been meaning to. (My tri-annual reading of H2G2 doesn't help either.)

*wishes she had a Neil Gaiman icon*

This is my first one. I figured it would be good for when the temperature hits over 90.

I have The Years of Rice and Salt in a pile somewhere. It looks keen.

I did the same thing. I started it in January, then had to put it down for a while. I think it's because it's so. damn. heavy. Anyway, I'm on the last hundred pages, and the second volume is on the way.

Near as I can figure, some guy watched Season 2 of Millennium and thought, "I can turn this into a totally crap novel!"
