Did anybody else notice that "Henry Gale" is the name of Dorothy's uncle in the Oz books?

Didn't somebody on the show mention that? I mean, he and his wife got to the island by hot air balloon, so if nobody mentioned it, they should have. *g*

Not that I heard (I could've been in the kitchen). But someone certainly should have.

It's entirely possible I'm conflating a conversation from my house with one on the show. It's actually quite likely. heh.

Sawyer should be the one to comment on it. Or no, maybe Hurley. And when everybody just looks at him, he could say "What? I read. Well, okay, I saw the movie."

Um, I don't remember. I knew he was Henry, but it's been decades since I read those as a kid.

Of course. And the fact that he supposedly travelled to the Island by balloon? *coughWizardcough*

I was waiting to hear that his wife was called Emma or Emily.

I think he actually said her name was Jennifer but I could be wrong. I was expecting it to be Emma or Emily though too. :) Still, Jenn's not too far from Em.

Would help if I could remember the Oz books. Or watched "Lost" I suppose.
