Tommy has hair.

Now I have to figure out how to keep it from sliding around even though it's really amusing.

On my flist, [livejournal.com profile] heyoka has been in the doll community for a while. She might have some advice.

What kind of wig did you get? As far as keeping it still, one popular method is using velcro on top the doll's headcap and inside the wig. I've also seen people use think rubber bands stretched around the headcap. I can't speak from personal experience though, since my doll is still using the fur wig she came with and the other wig I bought fits fine too. (but hardly gets used because I made the mistake of buying an already braided wig that becomes a mess of loose hairs that I can't fix if I so much as look at it funny)

I've heard of people using velcro. No idea if it works or not, having no money to find out. Pictures?

I got a wodge of short bobs from Kemper (hey, clearance!). I found a cache of sticky-back Velcro, so now I just have to Google some instructions. I think there are some in an old Haute Doll, too.

She has a vinyl head, so I'm afraid that rubber bands would put too much pressure on her brain. Or something.

The new BJD book has a pattern for a fur wig, so I hope to try making one.
