Oh, yeah, I know that ultra-pinky peach tone! *g* "Band-aid" describes it perfectly. Undead white--hee! So true.
And the Germans and Swiss and Italians are big on that sort of swarthy flesh tone, although my Phillip Heath dolls by Gotz are a little different than the usual Gotz dolls: the Indonesian girl doll's tones are more realistic, and my other doll is an Aborigine boy, so he's fairly realistically dark-skinned. Their facial expressions and ethnic features are amazing.
