Thundersnow! We're having fucking thundersnow! They've already started cancelling church services. Around here, you'll see government offices closed before you will churches.

What will I do if I run out of magazines, or milk? I'll go mad. I'll start licking wall sockets.

What you do is you play the drinking game my mom made up one Christmas Eve where there was an ice storm in Winston-Salem, where schools and businesses can, have, and will close on threat of snowstorm even if nothing ends up happening. You pick a denomination, and any time there's a church of that denomination announcing a closing, you drink. Also, every time there's a church with a numer in its name, like First Baptist, you drink that number of drinks and hope there's not a parish in the area that's honoring John XXIII.

The last time we had it, everything -- and I mean everything -- ended up coated with two inches of ice. The whole town closed down for days. It took months to mulch all the broken limbs.

But all the fellas on the block liked it, because HAY I CAN USE MY CHAINSAW! "Can I cut your limbs up for you?" "No! Me! Let me do it!"
