This morning I walk down to get the garbage can, and find that a ginormous spider web has appeared under the eaves overnight. Spider herself is grey, and the size of a gerbil head.

I will leave her alone for now, but if I start seeing 'AMAZING SQUIRREL!' written in that thing, she's getting the hose.

As long as it's not a Brown Recluse. Those b*tches must die in a spray of "Spider-Not".

So, you're not in a Pixar film, you're in a YA novel? Heartbreak always follows, with a lesson learned: then an uplifting finale foretelling future (possible) happiness & growth.

It's Spider Season here. (Which seems to be 11 months long.) When I opened the front door this morning, I walked though a web, and THE SPIDER CAME WITH ME. I am sorry you don't live near me, as my neighbors all got to see me do a funny funny dance of sheer terror.

I want to see how long she lasts, savaged by the elements.
