If...if you go outside during the day...sometimes...there's SUNLIGHT!

I swear I'm not making that up.

At the moment, there's also snow.

In England.

It's the Apocalypse, I'm telling you...

...and also? Sometimes you see birds and nature and shit. Because of the sunlight. Making everything all glinty.

Nope. Until I see actual evidence of this -- WITH MY OWN TWO EYES -- I refuse to accept it.

Fine. Fine, then. Just sit in your cave and watch the shadows.

Hooray sun!

Would this be a bad time to mention how much annual sun Colorado typically gets?

I love Colorado! The combination of altitude sickness and mysteriously crispy skin reminds me of that time I fell asleep in a tanning booth on a runaway hot-air balloon.

The first thing out of my mouth is always: "I have to go lie down. I can feel my veins."

All I ever GET is sunlight and blue skies in the winter, BLEH. I want to see what an actual winter looks like. I've never seen snow in person.

I always get weirded out when I go places closer to sea level and I can walk around in broad daylight without sunglasses. It's just unnatural.

But on the other hand, they have so much oxygen down there! It's crazy!

Si! Well, the parking garage. My train came in totally late, so we got coffee before going on to CO Springs. Met some interesting downtown dogs. Enjoyed the hypoxia.

I disbelieve you. Mostly because no one at my workplace lets me open up the blinds to let in whatever little bit of sunlight we get, so I am denied the sun until April '09.

I think I may need to pause from my own shadow watching and beat the hell out of you for daring to suggest such lunacy.

If we get snow by Christmas here, we'll know it really is the coming apocalypse.

It is not all it's cracked up to be.

It's cold, and wet, and if you step on some on the cement, you'll fall and break your hip.

Non-sequiter, but I think you just helped me work out where the plane was going in my dream last night. Now if I can just figure out why I'd be going to Colorado, and how to stop the whole 'coming unstuck in time' thing, I'll be set.

Er, when I'm asleep, I'm bad at the whole 'linear time' thing. I can manage when I'm awake, though.
