Have heard that our bus system will install bike carry racks, so we can take the bus and then bike where we need to go. Nothing, nothing can possibly go wrong with the combination of bicycle and bus. NOTHING!

Wait. There are still places that don't have bicycle racks on the bus?

We have this in Allentown and it works very well. You need not fear, citizen.

We have those on the campus-bound buses! And I recall seeing them in Seattle too. I've never read a scary headline about bad things happening. But if something does, I am SURE it will be on your bus. O.o

Since the bike racks I've seen on our buses only carry two bikes, my concern has always been, "So, if there's a third passenger with a bike, they're SOL?"

There are many places that do not have public transportation at all.

I still have an inch-long gash on my head where the bike fell on me Saturday. >.>

An excellent question.

Bike Racks

I've seen those! I always think that I'd use one if I could but then I fear extreme mortification as I figure out how to get my bike on and off the damn thing while the WHOLE BUS and EVERYONE AROUND ME watches.

I'm sure there will be many bike-rack-associated-delays and shenanigans as people who would use them figure out what the fuck they're doing.

Just remember to give those suckers a wide berth lest you want matching scars.

See, that right there? First thing I thought of in light of the previous bike incident!

What was your head doing on the bike rack?

You know perfectly well what it was doing there. You are the one who taught me.
