phosfateWeekend. Saw most of High Anxiety, which has one of my favorite bits in any movie ever, when Mel Brooks sings the title song in the bar. Read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and it shames me in a very real, very geeky way to say that it is definitely better in British, even though the UK covers are kind of 80s Athena greeting card. Weird-ass scary dream involving apocalyptic Four Horsemen types with edged weaponry, Gothic architecture, and mass martyrdoms of the innocent. Cool. Bought keen sweaters at the Goodwill, trousers at some mall horrorstore. Painted Mom's stepladder (she uses it as a coffee-drinkin' stool in the kitchen). Giving me a piece of furniture for the purposes of decorative painting is like giving your kid to Patsy Ramsay for deportment lessons, so the results were...unexpected. There's...there's a cat involved. Say no more. Put the Goddamn Fucking Christmas Tree together.
