I've just found a Jeeves and Wooster/Pokémon crossover.

I have to commit suicide now.

That is so....I don't know, but I think I'm going to go wash my brain out with Chlorox right now.

Isn't it, though?

Better idea.

Stay alive, we love you.

Killing the writer is a much better option.

but...but...

...but then I'd have to go read it and find the author's name and God only knows what else is there and it's just not worth it, Mr Spock, it's just...not...worthit!

I'm trying to remember the last time the mere premise of a story made me this ill... Even the DAGS' Gillian Anderson/David Duchovney fic didn't make me barf until I tried to read it.

I find myself curious as to how they actually crossed over the two series...

Where'd you find it, anyhow?

Google search to see if there was any new J&W fic apart from the single very good one which is now pushing 10 years old. There is new fic. It's not very good.

Visit Google and input "Jeeves Wooster Ash" and that should take you to it fairly quickly. You're a braver man than I am.

Which is the single good one? I found three that were actually quite enjoyable. Yes, *three!*

I think "My Man Jeeves" kicks tailored, pleat-concealed ass and takes names from engraved visiting cards. The other two on your list are certainly among the best, but lack heart in comparison. There was also some stuff that was competent, but both way too harsh and (worse) what the young kids nowadays call "snapshots" - ficcer code for "I didn't really feel like writing a whole story but I wanted to put something up 'cause I need strokes, so let's pretend this random paragraph is a carefully crafted petit four of prose."

(I hoped I spelled petit four right just now.)

I agree with you that "My Man Jeeves" is far and away the best of all the three--that bit where Bertie is trying and failing to make the omelet never fails to win me over. But then, I'm a sentimental type at heart. :-D

Have you got it in zine form, with Koz' nifto illustrations?

Nope--just the online edition. But that way I can imagine it as Stephen and Hugh in a clinch so it's even *better,* hah.

I can't - I only read the cringey bit in the Google listing. It sounded too inept to be smut, however.
