So we finally went to the movie. Yes, yes we did.

I am too wired even to nap.

Won't write much yet, except for three things that amused me:

-Boromir's delivery of "They've got a cave troll."
-Gimli warning the group of some hideous danger (the Lady, I think) and sounding remarkably like Tim the Enchanter.
-Character is beheaded, and before anyone can react, small child in the nosebleed section cries, "Oh, yuck!" Audience is destroyed.

I really need to go see it again. This need has not been reduced much by being in Partly's immediate vicinity ever since we went to see it, with her pointing out that SHE needs to go see it for a third time.

If only for that first shot of Frodo, I would want to see it again. Or pretty much any other shot in the movie. I have rarely seen a movie that was visually as much of a pleasure as this one was, and it was a story I've loved since I was a child, to boot! *sigh*

Maybe I could come out and sleep in your shed, and we could see it again? 'course, if it's cold enough I might hallucinate the entire movie right there, and we'd be saved the admission fee to the movie. I should probably not write things like this 'til I have gas money again, tho.
