"This movie-merchandise tie-in business has clearly gone too far! And half the profits go to C. S. Lewis' English lover, J. R. Tolkein to squander on ale and catamites."

Note to self: Write story wherein J.R.R. and C.S. drink the same soda from two straws and gaze longingly into each other's eyes.

With Charles Williams as the slightly creepy, jealous kid who follows them around all the time.

Please note that this journel entry should have been labeled with a spit-take warning.

People could hurt themselves while imbibing beverages. They could.

Of course, it would be much funnier if the movie had actually been any good . . . .

There's a Praedfic website?

"Wait, Wait" did their year-end news thing - however did I miss thew news item about the professor who hypthesizes that Robin Hood was gay. One does tend to miss things in the Sunday times, although Yahoo and Salon picked it up.

Thank God for NPR, that's all I can say.

Well, yer, you're always getting updates for it on the Jools list.

Perhaps the professor guy should first settle the question of whether Robin was an actual person before moving on to his personal preferences.
