Fawkes, for the second annual Harry Potter Valentine Project. Fussy, overworked watercolor.

*immitates cheesy Irish accent* "Ah yes, but I like it too!"

"anyone here want to contact v.d.?"

Looked an awful lot like 'contract V.D.' on first reading. But then I thought, well, it's that whole state health thing.

I don't think it looks overworked. Very flashy and pretty.

Its amazes me how you can get such vibrant colors out of watercolor.

Beautiful work as always. :)

He's a pheonix - he's gotta be bright! Exceptionally lovely.

Oh, it's beautiful.

Amazingly so. I have to keep scrolling back up to have another look at it. I may still be caught in the crayon years of art, but I think that there is nothing fussy or over done, just wonderful detail and colouring.

*scrolls up to have another look*

*bursts out laughing*

Heh, I think I looked one time too many ^_^ You know how sometimes you can look at something, and suddenly another image comes to mind? Well, suddenly I saw Percy dressed as fawkes - his lovely shaded shirt and trousers were quite spiffy looking on him, but the huge tail feathers, not to mention the ones on top of his head, made him look rather ... interesting. He had the valentine hanging out of his mouth as well =)

And THIS is why I should not be allowed on the net at 2:30am. Ever.

Anyway, it is a wonderful picture, and one I'm going to get visiting rights to =)

Actually he has a definite Sid and Marty Krofft look, with his squishy belly and fluffy, shoe-concealing feet...
