chalcedony sent me a wonderful album/sketchbook/scrapbook thingie bound in handmade paper with rose petals an' junk. This is the equivalent of sending Robert Downey Jr a baggie full of uncut China White. Much fun tonight involving ripped-up mulberry paper, small objects, those fried leaf things, and headache-inducing matte varnish. Tomorrow: the second coat!

Note to self: do something nice for her at vague, unspecified point in the future.
