disney coloring fun III: the heretic!

Oh dear. This is one of those pictures with a backstory that won't really make it any funnier but is at least some sort of explanation. I was playing on eBay, looking at Disney pins and lanyards (since most of the characters I like weren't in the current mix on offer in the park). There was a cast member* Atlantis lanyard on offer featuring Milo and Kida. Except instead of her big-ass gaffing hook, Kida brandished an oar. In place of the Shepherd's Journal, Milo had a great big pink doughnut. With chocolate jimmies on it.

Apparently they have annual canoe races at Disneyland, (Aug 30 EDIT: http://www.mouseplanet.com/kevin/ky060200.htm has some info on the canoe races) and this was the pin commemorating this year's event. That would explain the oar. It doesn't help with the pink doughnut with jimmies on it, but you can't have everything.

Anyway, the whole thing tickled me beyond reason, so the similar design in the coloring sheet pack was remade in a matching design. Er, apart from the Communist insurgency slogan, obviously.

This piece has quite possibly the worst lettering job I've ever done. Please enjoy its illegibility.

*Disney park and store employees are referred to as 'cast members.' I have no interest in knowing why.
