phosfate: Ouroboros painting closeup (SNAPE by samiamicons)
Walked over to the campus bookstore in search of a lab book. Instead emerged with two tankoubon, the new Juxtapoz, a wad of 40-cent Penguins, and some magic beans. Failed to catch a glimpse of Tommy Lee and his TV crew. I'm assuming. I'm not really sure who he is. He might have been the small and personable Hindu* student who drew my Caffé Americano, in which case, Well done, Tommy. Also, Great rack, Tommy.

"Caffé Americano" is apparently Italian for "Mom's Coffee." Except that, unlike Mom's coffee, it costs a dollar ninety-nine.

*Or merely fashionable. Possibly both.
