danakate sent a massive care package of Pocky! It comes in banana now. I made Mom taste it, but she claimed it tasted like bubble gum and made her Ew face. Hee.

Over the holiday, I made a teddy. Jointed, from a nice long-pile fake fur. (The pattern had him made of plush felt, but fuck that scratchy shit.) Working with fur, as it turns out, is a stone bitca and made my fingers hurt. But it does have the advantage of covering up my sloppy stitching. Bear is ultra-dark brown, with blue eyes and blue Ultrasuede pads and ears. He looks like the unholy love child of Robert Foxworth and Porky Pine. I put pellets in his feet, and he can stand by himself, though it seems to make him a bit nervous.
