Had to go home at lunch to get a checkbook to pay the frammastatin' IRS, because the half-dozen checkbooks in my bag consist entirely of the carbon ghosts of long-departed checks. But it worked out, since when I got home there was a UPS box containing a lovely present from
nitasee of two books, both with that new-book smell. So, squeee!
Also, I had a glass of milk.
