Sounds like a fairly ernest account. At least it might give some insight into the attraction to really narrow fundie groups. Nice to know the lady found her way out. No surprise that getting an education had a lot to do with it.

quite frankly, christianity scares the crap out of me.

You ever notice, how in the bible, when God needed to punish someone, make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel. Can you imagine what a creature like that would be like. A being who spends all eternity praising their god, but with one wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see a creature like that?
