"The soul-deadening string of clichés that is "Attack of the Clones" must immediately be shot beyond Pluto where it can do no harm."

I guess not. I'm not clicking on the link, because I'm going to see it in an hour, well, I'm leaving the house in an hour and the movie starts at noon, and I'm trying to remain unspoiled.

I think Star Wars slamming has suddenly been declared the New National Pastime. I'm undaunted and will in the theatres in 12 hours. Then again, I've got no taste since I love Ewoks and despite my bleeding heart liberal status, don't see the horrible racial/ethnic stereotypes so many people keep bleating about in either Jar Jar or Watto.

Didn't read the entire thing, because, well...I'll read it after I see the movie. But someone really should point out to her that Star Wars has been designated "Episode IV" for a REALLY long time, not just "now".

"The trail leads them to Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), and you know he's bad because his name sounds kind of like kidspeak for "turd."

"What's more, Lucas has never met a stereotype he didn't like. Jar Jar Binks, his dreads dangling and his patois pattering, makes a few brief appearances....We also get another chance to see the crooked moneylender we first met in "The Phantom Menace," the guy with the insect wings and the big, hooked nose. This time, he has apparently sold Anakin's mother down the river. But we know he's not supposed to look Jewish or anything because, as everybody knows, Jews don't have wings. "

I enjoyed that review.
