I woke up at 1:10 this afternoon. Screaming "Oh, SHIT!" is always a great start to the day.

Mom still being helpful. I do hope she doesn't fall down the stairs.

Leave in the morning. Goldberry has a life-size cardboard standup of me to fill in while I'm gone.

'Goldberry has a life-size cardboard standup of me to fill in while I'm gone.'

May I have one? Once my Harry Potter arrives, he may get lonely since my dad took my R2-D2.

I want an Ann cardboard standup. I'll use it to stop traffic.

Fare thee well. Don't hit anybody, even if you really really want to. ;-)

Funny thing, I usually start my mornings by exclaiming, "Oh, shit."

I woke up almost exactly an hour before you. I haven't stopped screaming that yet. Heh.

*hugs*

It's gonna be an interesting year, methinks!

Have a great time in beautiful downtown East Lansing, darling. Don't do anything I wouldn't do and even a few things that I would (and that includes picking up psycho psuedo married zine editors and having long term relationships with them). ;)

It just hit me. I saw a reference to the location of MediaWest. And I have been so wrapped up in my work-month-from-hell, that I haven't looked around me or my neighborhood very closely lately to know what anyone or anything is doing around this cowtown.

Ann is going to MediaWest.

I WORK IN EAST LANSING. I LIVE NEARBY.

You put those facts together and see what happens.

You pinhead!

I will! Next time you will not escape. I've been so tunneled in on other projects, it just never occcurred to me that you were talking about a con HERE.

Next year, I'll give you the whirlwind tour of the Greater Lansing Area. I can introduce you to Taffy, the World's Fastest Racing Cow, show off the fabulous Pothole Of Doom on Grand River Ave., and if you are very, very good, I can point out where the steam tunnels are on campus that were the basis of all those Dungeons and Dragons horror stories in the 70's. Can your heart stand the excitement???

Glad you made it back safely - and I'll catch up on your adventures as I catch up on lj. I'm barely here lately, and getting really behind!

Ahem. That would be the Rona Jaffee Memorial Tunnels at Michigan State. UMich could only hope to be a cool as us.

One of the tunnels runs under the building I work in. It's neat on a snowy day, since the temperature of the tunnel melts everything on its path, and you can follow it from above ground.

Here's a fun thought. Let's stuff all the sockpuppets into the tunnels for an adventure, and check back in a few days to see who survives. You can drop Pocky through the sidewalk gratings so they don't starve.
