I'm reading Paris in the 20th Century by Jules Verne. It's remarkable mainly because it was found by one of his great-greats a few years back, in a bronze safe that had been thought empty, and published in the 1990s. Thus:

"Whatcha reading?"

"The new Jules Verne."

Things like this cause little pinholes to open up in the space-time continuum. I think it's where all the single socks and ball-point pens go.

Is that how L. Ron Hubbard managed to publish books well after his death?

I used to think V.C. Andrews, despite being incest obsessed was awesome, just because she could still continue to turn out drivel, even when she was dead! Then I found out the family had hired authors just for their ability to write like V.C. Andrews!

I want that job, I want that job!

That's why she's now V.C. Andrews[TM]. She's evolved into a brand name, just like Gene Roddenbery.
