I always like it when I have several windows opened up on this thing, and the one that has amazon.com in it is labeled AMAZO.

. . .

Oh, shut up. Be glad I'm not explaining why the advert for Nick Bantock Brand Prussian Blue ink in the new Somerset Studios amuses me.

My mother thought one of my windows said "Groin" i while ago when really it was just Gloin's journal. Honest.

Sense of self-preservation is out hiking. So why DOES it amuse you?

Well gosh, Jennie, since you insist...it's this full-page advert for a company that makes stamp pads in a variety of colors and chemical make-ups ('cause sometimes you want a dye, and sometimes you want something opaque, or permanent, or embossable, and...yeah...). The central image is an arrangement of their products in the form of an American flag - not that I'm making note of the current vogue among craft supply makers for cynically exploiting tragedy or jingoism. I'd hate for you to think that. Heavens no. Anyway, the stripes on the flag are made of rows of red and white stamp pads and re-inkers, while the blue field is a blow-up of their brand-new Nick Bantock Prussian Blue pad.

See, it's supposed to be patriotic, but we used to, y'know...fight wars an' junk against the...Prussians...and I told you not to ask. I told you.

Coming next on Sideshow Bob's Cavalcade of Whimsy...

Hey, some of my best friends are Pr....um, right.

Should I be frightened if I actually understood and agreed with your amusement?

All-righty, then -

I am officially cheerfully terrified. (Best I can manage at the moment, but maybe I'll have some nice juicy nightmares tonight...)

Wooo, that happens to me. ON MSN some girl had the name 'God is bigger than the boogieman' and I could only see 'God is bi' and it was terribly amusing me me.
