Never a good start to a day when you wake up, look at the clock, realize you were supposed to be at the hairdresser's ten minutes ago, and scream, "Oh, SHIT!"

Lori, bless her little scissors, worked me in anyway, I got to the mall 20 minutes later, and I am now well and truly bobbed.

Went to the mall Gloria Jean's for cappu-breakfast, which set me to 'vibrate' for the next couple hours. Wandered into the Disney Store and was made all happy by a Lilo and Stitch coloring kit. Very cool - the coloring sheets are on heavy card stock, with deckled edges like old photos. Hee.

Feel like shit, but at least have coloring now.

Went to the Disney Store website looking for this set after you posted about it, because I wanted to buy it as a present for a friend of mine. But no dice. However, they do have a giant blue beach towel with a Stitch-head for a hood and Stitch paws sewn onto it. Pretty feckin' cool... :)

I saw the towel! It's way cool.

Someone took a bunch of the big stuffed Stitches and salted them throughout the figures up in the ceiling - he's riding Aladdin's carpet, bugging Cruella de Ville, etc. I nearly woofed my coffee when I noticed the first one.

The coloring sheets (they call it an 'activity pack') come with a set of stubby markers and a big sticker sheet, all packed in a nifty, re-usable plastic foldy box with a camera strap. It lists for $6.00 - find the Disney Store toll-free number and try calling them.

I've been to McDonald's more in the past week than I have in quite a while. So far, I have three of the "Lilo and Stitch" bobble-heads: Elvis-Stitch, David, and Jambo (is that the right name?). On my work computer, I have the beach wallpaper from the McDonald's website.

Local trivia: at the McDonald's in Elgin, Happy Meal toys are $2 each and (at least at the two I went to) they only have Jambo and David. But at the one in Hoffman Estates, closer to me, they're only $1.19 and they have more choices. I need to go back and see if they have the social worker guy or one of the girls.
