What zombie movie were you watching, anyway? I wanna watch a zombie movie. Preferably one that I haven't seen before. You know, in the sweeps for my all-time favorite zombie flick it's a toss-up between "White Zombie" and "I Walked With a Zombie." (Though "Mark of the Vampire" is a dark horse, because while not technically a zombie movie, it has a zombie in it, and a pretty cool one. Plus the vampires' creepy old house is infested with opossums and it's about time that someone outside the American Deep South recognized how completely fucking disgusting a lifeform the opossum is.) Thinking about it, "I Walked With a Zombie" narrowly wins on Val Lewton style points, but if we're gonna talk Val Lewton style championships it's still "Cat People" all the way. Or maybe "The Leopard Man." "Let no one say and say it to your shame...." Heh. Zombiez!! I wish I was one. I know some people who could use having their fucking brains eaten (since they apparently have no use other than a possible gustatory one, presumably with caper berries.) Do you suppose I shouldn't have had that second pot of coffee?

Ohhhhhhhkay...

It was...um...I'm not sure. Some godawful thing on Sci-Fi with Martin Milner. With zombies. And drums of chemicals.

I like the zombie episode of Night Stalker, where Carl has to get in the back of the hearse with the zombie and sew its lips shut, and it's way fucking scary and...and...I want my bear. BRAMWELL! WHERE'S BRAMWELL???

I've never seen that movie all the way through, and then someone says to me "It was good, but the part at the end when his wife's head was in the box was pretty gross."

Er...no, I've never seen it. It's an all-purpose phrase I inherited from somebody. e.g., What's for breakfast? A HUMAN HEAD!!!

I shouldn't really talk to people.
