At lunchtime, I saw a dog that looked just like Snowy.* He was the same shape, had ears that flopped in just the same way, and even the stereo-vision black button eyes. He looked like an incredibly well-made robo-plush. I would not have believed he was an actual dog if not for his pausing to take a giant wizz on a neighbor's lawn.

Of course, now I have that horrible 1960s/70s cartoon version of TinTin's voice in my head going "Snowy! Snowy!". GAAAAAAH!!!!

There was a novel published a few years ago called something like Tintin in the New World, with Tintin as an adult, but I've never been able to find out if it's good, or just too pretentious for words.

It's at my comic shop, and I'm debating reading it. The reviews I've seen fall more on the side of pretentious and confusing, so I probably shan't.
