That's a cruel thing to do to a poor Aussie living in a country town where it takes _months_ for new books to hit the shelves and a maxed-out credit card and Amazon.com keeps tormenting me too with emails telling me it's out... Oh well, I'll have to look for it in Canada next month.

Well, crap.

I looked on mine, and the title page says it's a signed first edition of 5,000 copies, and there's a little round gold sticker on the jacket.

It could be autopenned, however - I'd have to compare a couple to be sure.

Look at it this way...you'll probably get it in Canada sooner than Amazon could mail it to you in AU, even if you sent for it today.
