I'm glad you like it! No, it's not the loading so much as sometimes a wiiiiiiiiiiiiide image can stretch out a whole friends page and make the reader...cranky.

Also, now that I'm not looking at it on my (hideously dark) work monitor, I love the foggy/smoky background! Couldn't really see it from work. (That's the monitor's fault, not yours...)
